Story here. h/t: National Terror Alert (see sidebar headlines)

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A confrontation between agents for the Department of Homeland Security and a man they were seeking sparked a high-speed chase through Fort Collins that ended Wednesday morning with two car crashes -- one involving their suspect and the other involving a Colorado State Patrol trooper.

Authorities say it began when agents from the Department of Homeland Security approached a man in downtown Fort Collins. A trooper told 7NEWS that the man tried to run over the federal agents when they confronted him.
