Canada Dismisses Russia's Arctic Claim

Story here.

Russkie tyrant Vlad Putin, despite his petulant sound, fury and threats, doesn't scare us.

Canada counters Russia's unproven assertions.

And it appears that the race is on between Canada and Russia to "prove" who has sovereignty over any part of the Arctic beyond that which is indisputably already under any nation's sovereignty.

It sounds like Russia's bluffing, trying to dib the entire area. Vlad, ever the pleasant diplomat, seems to be playing a dangerous political game.

Canada will not be intimidated by Vlad Putin's criminal organization masquerading as a government.

Nor will America, nor Norway.

One cannot simply send a bunch of "scientists" there and simply announce that it belongs to their country. It doesn't work that way, unless they plan on starting a World War just so that they can have more frozen tundra for the purpose of exiling political prisoners (I suppose Siberia is jam-packed full of inconvenient non-Commies by now and to simply build more Gulags elsewhere has been deemed by the KGB to be "more efficient" than wasting bullets on them!).

Hey! Anybody got any polonium-210? Vlad's in the can... his cornflakes are on the table... quick, before he finishes up! A little poetic justice, perhaps? A little tit for tat? Eye for an eye? Do it for Aleksandr Litvininko!
