China Demonstrates Military Aggression With Sub Sneak-Up on USS Kitty Hawk

Story here.

The lone Chinese vessel slipped past at least a dozen other American warships which were supposed to protect the carrier from hostile aircraft or submarines.

And the rest of the costly defensive screen, which usually includes at least two U.S. submarines, was also apparently unable to detect it.

According to the Nato source, the encounter has forced a serious re-think of American and Nato naval strategy as commanders reconsider the level of threat from potentially hostile Chinese submarines.

It also led to tense diplomatic exchanges, with shaken American diplomats demanding to know why the submarine was "shadowing" the U.S. fleet while Beijing pleaded ignorance and dismissed the affair as coincidence.

The SinoCommie bastards.

We aren't threatening China, but they are clearly threatening everyone (while denying it, naturally).

It's time to wake up to the reality of the threat environment and realize that the world is getting more and more dangerous, not less. And if there's any fault on our part for this, it isn't because we're strong... rather it's because we've been weak. We've been treating the evil SinoCommunist regime as if it was benign, doing business with them so they could make trillions with unethical, immoral business practices so that they could amass their military power with an ultimate view to taking over other nations, most likely beginning with the sovereign nation of Taiwan.

We've been getting complacent, moving too far away from our necessary level of alertness and powerful readiness for anything. Being told that the Cold War is supposedly over and that there's nothing much to worry about anymore has been a lie, actually. It has lulled us into a false sense of security and allowed the Far Left to push our governments to weaken our militaries and security practices.

Proof? China can now sneak up on us with their submarines. So we'll have to go back to the drawing board immediately to develop technologies to detect those submarines or else we'll be sitting ducks, which we don't want (the Left, however, as well as the Communists, do want us to be vulnerable, of course!).

Canada had the Nazi U-Boats in her own sovereign waters, both coastal and inland. Canada suffered many attacks by the Nazis on her own ships, military, commercial and civilian, so Canada can appreciate the gravity of the threat from enemy submarines. Fortunately also, Canada is a specialist in counter-submarine warfare and can help defend the Free World as well as herself from enemy subs, though we do have a long way to go to rebuild our military. Too bad it takes a world war to make us do it fast enough!
