Man In Jeep Arrested With IED, Rifle Near US Capitol

Story here.

And get this...

The man stopped to ask police for directions near the Capitol building at about 11 a.m. EDT Friday, at the intersection of 2nd and Independence Avenue Southeast, according to Capitol Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider.

The officer responding noticed a rifle case on the car seat and inspected the jeep, discovering the IED, rifle and ammunition. A canine unit was enlisted to help.

Asking police for directions... with a weapon in plain view. Not too smart.

Can't be too careful. It could be a really stupid terrorist. What the hell's someone doing going around with an improvised explosive device, like what the Taliban use in Afghanistan, and a rifle with ammunition?

Considering his stupidity, I'd speculate that perhaps it's a far-left extremist nutcase. Perhaps seeking to attack "right-wing" Republicans, like some other leftists who physically attacked Republican delegates at the RNC convention in St. Paul recently.

Oh, and a note to leftist readers: Please read this post again carefully. I am not actually saying what this guy is... note words such as "speculate" and "perhaps". So don't make an assfool clown dummy of yourself again, going back to "Stage Left" to excitedly tell your fellow lefty lunatics that "Scenty's at it again, saying somebody's a terrorist! Scenty, Scenty, Scenty! Let's mock Crazy Scenty!".

Leave it to the Left to declare one "paranoid" and "delusional" for simply speculating that a stupid nutcase with a homemade bomb and a rifle could be a terrorist or a violent left-wing extremist. After all, leftists are the paranoid, delusional ones, as one can see quite plainly when witnessing them demonstrate their Bush Derangement Syndrome, Palin Derangement Syndrome and Harper Derangement Syndrome (with that one, it's Liberal Party Leader Stephane Dion showing his paranoia and delusion, or, alternatively, just absent-mindedly reading B.S. from a teleprompter in English, his second language which he barely understands, meaning, yet again alternatively, that he doesn't have any idea whatsoever what he's saying when he speaks English... not that he necessarily is much better in French!).
